About The Stillwater
The 1500-square foot home was lovingly built in 2019 for my mother who grew up in Stillwater, Oklahoma. It is also a reminder of how the Lord led her “beside still waters” throughout her life. From her early years living alongside Boomer Creek, to marrying an Air Force officer and following him around the nation and across the seas while raising two sons, her personal faith in God was always the center of her life. Upon his retirement they made the family homestead ranch their home. Widowed when the love of her life passed in 1999, she remained at the ranch more than a quarter century more, managing the property while continuing her career at the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg. Always actively involved in her church and the broader faith community, she would, we believe, fully embrace this new chapter in the ongoing story of her home.
